Remark about Vegworks Graphics
Within the context of “ups and downs,” Vegworks Graphics has been an ongoing project since 2008. It has navigated between good moments and “very challenging streaks,” reflecting the dynamic nature of its journey.
The most complex stage emerged at the start of 2021 when the company embarked on a “collective” project in collaboration with Hola Tulum Magazine, a renowned publication based in Tulum. The CEO’s role as a Graphic Designer was to develop an entire model for the magazine’s editorial design.
However, the team faced significant instability. The magazine’s director appeared to be going through a particularly difficult time, compounded by the strict government restrictions and societal challenges that were enforced between 2019 and 2021. These factors, along with broader economic and social dynamics, led to the conclusion of working relationship with the director in less than a month. Despite this, the experience was enriching, and the CEO remained hopeful that the project would flourish, doing his utmost to contribute positively.
Shortly before this – in mid-2019 – an opportunity arose to collaborate with RDT (Reporte Diario Tulum). Through communication, several agreements were reached between RDT’s administrator and VgWs-CEO. Unfortunately, the collaboration never materialised, possibly due to “mismanagement” or other unclear reasons on the part of the administrator – a situation he still don’t fully understand.
Creativity and project expansion continue “without interruption” in alignment with what is offered on this website. Since the beginning of 2022, the direction has evolved to encompass structural design in writing and languages, alongside multimedia products, narratives, stories, and deeper thematic explorations.
